  1. i dont think i changed the file on the server i only copied the conf file from the server to the remote pc but the modified time stamp does say it was changed yesterday. will contact support.
  2. Thanks Carlos that path fixed it. I however have a side effect. The Plastic client on the server which was working before now does not show any repositories. If it try to check the branch view of an existing workspace, it says i dont not have permission for operation view. My username and pwd however works.
  3. ok, firstly the remote pc did not have a client.conf file in the directory. so i dont know how its been working so far. so i copied the conf file from the server tot he remote pc and i still get the same error.
  4. Well the remote pc is configured to connected to other Servers too.. copy the client conf could be an issue. i will take a backup and then try.
  5. am using custom User and password mode The remote PC and the server is in the same network, in the same room. on the server i have a plastic client and the username pwd works on that client but does not on the remote PC.
  6. Hi i have a similar issue. I created a new user on the server. When i open plastic client on the server and enter the credentials of the new user, it allows the user to log in. On a remote pc in the same network, when i use the same credentials its says "Invalid credentials, Username or password is not valid" i have ensured that the new user has a license allocated through the command line interface Other existing users are able to log in on the same remote pc. thanks
