SOLVED! The reason why we got locked out was because the Tenstar group you see in the image above did not have permission to change owner. The admin users are also members in that group, and for some reason it seems that permissions prioritise denied over allowed. So I removed myself from the Tenstar group in the AD and restarted the service.

Hi, Since our repository admin is gone, we had to reset the owner from GUI so it's now set to ALL USERS. Even though it's set to ALL USERS, no one is able to change owner or any permission. I've provided a screenshot with the overview.
