Pushing changes from a child branch to the main is a big part of the work flow and we have each branch working as a duplicate of our unreal project rather than small 'tasks'

Hi, I have a 2 item change set and I want to bring over one item or both it doesnt really matter but when I am trying to do a 'Merge from this changeset to.' it is trying to bring over all of the files from the entire branch. With these items saying 'Added on Source' When I try to do cherry pick change set it des the first step asking me to resolve conflicts however after It has a list of all of my changes and I try to discard changes for the un needed items or only submit the required ones but it is asking to submit everything.
