  1. Hi there, I would like to import a git repository to a new plastic scm repository. (It would be a one-time import.) I made an import from UI by `GitSync` and from the command line by `git fast-export` but at both methods, the authors of the git commits were not imported correctly into the plastic repository. All imported changesets got my plastic user as owner, but there are two other authors in the git repo. I would like to see almost the correct history with owners/authors in the plastic repository after the import. (I am a cloud user right now.) How can I import all git authors as plastic owners into my new plastic repository? Thanks in advance!
  2. Hello, i want to change from github to plasticscm some projects. My first try was to use the gitsync option, the import works well i have the same workspace directory structure as the one with github, but it appears that i can't break the sync process after importing the project, and that some features cannot be used because of the sync with git that i don't want in fact (i never want to push things back to git, i just want to import the gihub repo and keep traces of all history). So i tried to use git fast-export then cm fast-import but in this case, when opening the imported plasticscm repo i can find old directories that was deleted or renamed in my workspace. Has someone some tips ? My only need is to get my github repo in a plastic repo with all history but no old renamed/move/deleted folders or files, but i never want to push back to git but gitsync cannot be removed after syncing and some features cannot be done because of the sync i don't need. Thanks by advance. St├ęphane Edited: Seems like there's only old empty directories...
  3. Hi, I wanted to recreate a repo using fast-import which I got as a handover from another company. Therefore I installed Plastic locally, run the server and created a repo so I can fast-import the repo we got (via fast-export). I use the command cm fast-import myrepo@localhost:8087 d:\myrepo-export.repo After executing it, it starts to process the changesets but while processing the 39th changeset I get the following error: Processing changeset 39. Processed 36 csets. Elapsed 00:00:01.2660000 Error processing changeset mark 143. Parent cset mark: 89. Parent cset: 20 The changeset '143' could not be imported. I need the data stored in the repo and do not have access to the original one. It looks like, there is an issue with the Plastic software. Is there a chance you can provide a fix for this? Thanks, Lukas
