  1. Greetings! We are trying to use the Teamcity plugin with the "checkout on agent" configuration. This configuration works fine on Windows, but for a Linux agent the checkout does not work. The build fails event before the first build step: Looking at the teamcity-agent.log the next exception trace appears: [2019-10-01 17:54:40,649] ERROR - pl.patch.ProjectSourcesOnAgent - Problem while checkout on agent java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.apache.commons.lang.SystemUtils at com.codicesoftware.plugins.teamcity.PathUtils.isFileInSymlinkContained(PathUtils.java:34) at com.codicesoftware.plugins.teamcity.PathUtils.getCanonicalPath(PathUtils.java:16) at com.codicesoftware.plugins.teamcity.WorkspaceManager.ensureWorkspaceExists(WorkspaceManager.java:21) at com.codicesoftware.plugins.teamcity.PlasticAgentVcsSupport.updateSources(PlasticAgentVcsSupport.java:67) at jetbrains.buildServer.agent.impl.vcs.AgentVcsManagerExImpl$CheckoutSupportImpl.updateSources(AgentVcsManagerExImpl.java:108) at jetbrains.buildServer.agent.impl.patch.ProjectSourcesOnAgent$1.run(ProjectSourcesOnAgent.java:186) at java.base/java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:834) [2019-10-01 17:54:40,651] WARN - l.patch.AbstractSourcesUpdater - Error while checkout on agent: Problem while checkout on agent: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.apache.commons.lang.SystemUtils jetbrains.buildServer.vcs.VcsException: Problem while checkout on agent: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.apache.commons.lang.SystemUtils at jetbrains.buildServer.agent.impl.patch.ProjectSourcesOnAgent$1.run(ProjectSourcesOnAgent.java:192) at java.base/java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:834) Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.apache.commons.lang.SystemUtils at com.codicesoftware.plugins.teamcity.PathUtils.isFileInSymlinkContained(PathUtils.java:34) at com.codicesoftware.plugins.teamcity.PathUtils.getCanonicalPath(PathUtils.java:16) at com.codicesoftware.plugins.teamcity.WorkspaceManager.ensureWorkspaceExists(WorkspaceManager.java:21) at com.codicesoftware.plugins.teamcity.PlasticAgentVcsSupport.updateSources(PlasticAgentVcsSupport.java:67) at jetbrains.buildServer.agent.impl.vcs.AgentVcsManagerExImpl$CheckoutSupportImpl.updateSources(AgentVcsManagerExImpl.java:108) at jetbrains.buildServer.agent.impl.patch.ProjectSourcesOnAgent$1.run(ProjectSourcesOnAgent.java:186) ... 1 more Plugin version: Do you know why may this be happening? I have looked at the plugin folder in the agent and the commons-lang.jar is there. Regards!
  2. Hi, I have installed PlasticSCM on my Fedora server. I installed it with the root user. I chose Username & Password as Authentication-Mode. If I now want to create a user via the Web-Admin user interface, the following error message appears: Access to the path "/opt/plasticscm5/server/users.conf" is denied. Picture in attachment. I'm assuming that the users.conf permissions are not set correctly, maybe not even the whole folder. Many thanks in advance. Best regards, Laurence Trippen
  3. Hey awesome plastic peps, I have been trying to setup the plastic client on a virtual machine running debian 8.2. When I run any of the commands that I know; e.g. lrep or mkwk, I get a "z"-error. I have attached a log cm.log.txt. Since I could not use apt-get, presumably because I am running debian 8.2, I have installed mono as suggested here http://www.plasticscm.net/index.php?/topic/2193-install-on-ubuntu-1404/ and the plastic binaries using this link https://www.plasticscm.com/download/downloadinstaller/5.4.16.717/plasticscm/linux_x86/clientzip?Flags=None, which might have affected the installation?
  4. Hello, I am trying to install Plastic SCM v4.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I have tried the 64bit version but understand from reading the forums that this has issues. Have tried to install the 32bit version but the .run refuses to execute. In a last Google attempt I found this page: https://www.plasticscm.com/plastic-for-linux/index.html. I thought this would solve my issues as being able to use the package manager is always preferred. After following the guide above I get the following error. The following packages have unmet dependencies. plasticscm-client : Depends: plasticscm-libmono3-cil-dev (<= 3.0.3.1-1.1) but it is not going to be installed Depends: plasticscm-mono3-devel (<= 3.0.3.1-1.1) but it is not going to be installed Depends: plasticscm-libgdiplus (<= 2.10.1-4) but it is not going to be installed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. Does anyone know where these packages are? and why they are not located in the public repository? Thanks in advance.
  5. Just tested PlasticSCM + firebird v2.5.2/v2.1.5 using CentOS x64 (6.5), openSUSE x32 (12.3). with Firebird server 2.5.2/2.1.5: Same problem exists under freeBSD 9.2-p3. Firebird Embedded version: So can we get updated firebird files for linux/freeBSD? Thx Andy
