  1. I have a rather frustrating error to do with the Unity plugin which is stopping me from being able to use the built in support. I have a 3 user Team licence set up on a remote server which I have an open connection with in the Plastic SCM client (everything is fully functional in the client) but every time I click connect in the editor I receive two errors which I have attached. Been up all night trying to fix this - would appreciate some help! https://gyazo.com/992e19f02cca3f27727766e475c6b7dd
  2. Hello, We are a small team game development on Unity and we are actually migrating from Collab to PlasticSCM. We are using Gitlab for issue tracking and Discord as our communication tool. It seems complicated to integrate PlasticSCM Cloud Edition in our workflow. There is not webhook for Discord neither Plastic Gitlab integration. Do we have to develop our own tools to link everything to PlasticSCM ? What's the good way to do it ? Is it even possible to do it with the Cloud Edition..? Best, Matthis Le Texier
  3. Hi! Just wanted to let everybody know that I build a plugin for SonarQube: https://www.sonarqube.org/ This will add annotate/blame info to your SonarQube projects 😃 Feel free to use it: https://github.com/KhaosCoders/sonar_scm_plasticscm
  4. Hey, I created a new repository on the cloud server and linked it to my local workspace directly for a Unreal Engine 4 project, currently my team has two members, i set up the project on two PCs, Pushing and Pulling of changes is working flawlessly, but if i or my team mate check out any file, that does not reflect on the UE4 UI or in Gluon/Plastic SCM. Am i missing some settings ?
  5. Okay, so here is my current dilemma (and PLEASE bear with me, as my Linux experience is minimal). I inherited a Systems Administrator position in which we had Atlassian Jira installed on Ubuntu 14.04. They wanted it upgraded to the newest release of Ubuntu, and they wanted a bunch more Atlassian products to go along with it. In a test environment, I've cloned our Jira Server and upgraded it to Ubuntu 16.04. ALL works well. I've been able to install Bamboo, Confluence, Crucible, TeamCity, etc, and they've been tested to work perfectly. I have Plastic SCM installed on a Windows 2012 R2 S
  6. I was wondering if the IntelliJ IDEA plugin would work for Rider. It is from the same company and based on the same IDE engine... It allowed me to select it as a target to install the plugin to the Plastic installer is recognizing it as a valid IDE, and it is showing up in the list of installed plugins. However it is greyed out (even though the check mark is on) and the options are unavailable. I think it would be a really good integration for Plastic given how well it works with C#.
  7. I use Atlassian Bamboo as CI service together with PlasticSCM (tested plugin 5.6.2 and 5.10.1) When I configure a source code checkout task to checkout to a sub directory the directory is created but the source code remains in the working directory. When I use another source ode repo (like git) the option works well. Therefore I think there is a bug in the bamboo-plasticscm-plugin plastic version: Bamboo: 6.3.0 (running on Ubuntu) plugin: 5.10.1 (tested with 5.6.2 as well)
  8. Hey all, I'm working on a local plastic server where we all have a team edition of Plastic running. I have the unity plugin installed and working fine. Another person on my team, however, is getting the "plugin is unlicensed in plastic scm server error." He is working remotely but he is able to push through the plastic gui so we know that he does have a working connection. We have unity pro licenses for everyone and have had multiple people working with the plugin before. Is there something different that could be causing issues with verifying the license for the unity plugin if he's
  9. Unity Version: 5.3.4 Plastic Version: OS: Windows 10 I'm currently unable to access Plastic in the Unity editor even though we have a paid license. We can manage our repositories and workspaces through the Plastic GUI on Mac and Windows without issues, but all machines see the same error and warning in Unity. The error: "PlasticSCM not installed. Please visit http://www.plasticscm.com to download PlasticSCM or contact support team at: support@codicesoftware.com" The warning: "Cannot load PlasticSCM overlays when plugin is not running" I see the same iss
  10. Hello everyone, I've been having trouble with the Plastic SCM and Unity integration. I've downloaded the new Plastic SCM v 5 to get the Unity plugin. I've changed Unity to use PlasticSCM and I get 3 errors: Error waiting for read external process: The pipe has been ended. Version Control: PlasticSCM: The Unity3D plugin is unlicensed in your Plastic SCM server Cannot load PlasticSCM overlays when plugin is not running. So, I think these errors are popping up because I haven't configured my Plastic client yet so here's my question. I'm using bitbucket but the client setup doesn't h
  11. Hello: I've installed plastic with the plugin for eclipse in a Windows 7 machine and it hangs when I try to checkout a project form eclipse. The installation went fine, but I'm not the administrator of my computer: the installation and configuration was done using a priviledged account and now, when I try to checkout a project from the repository, it apparently hangs and return nothing. I've detected that the plugin is executing this command: "C:\Program Files\PlasticSCM5\client\cm.exe" shell --defaultencoding --commfile C:\Users\rlunaro\AppData\Local\Temp\cmshel

  14. I use the PlasticSCM Jenkins plugin (v2) with Plastic v4.1. When the plugin generates the changelog.xml it includes a list of items. We use the Jenkins REST interface for another integration, but when it drills down into the job details, it encounters an exception. If we remove any item tags from the items collection in the xml, then everything works OK. I believe the PlasticSCM plugin provides both the reader (changesetreader.java) and writer(changesetwriter.java) for this file (and high level parse logic).
  15. The integration with Eclipse doesn't work: right click -> "Team" doesn't bring up Plastic's options. I have a "Plastic SCM" perspective, but it doesn't show anything, although I have a working environment (I can see branches and download code, etc..) The plugins do show in Help -> about -> Installation details -> Plug-ins, although appear as "Unsigned" (does it matter ?). Their versions are: commands core ver. 4.0.0, plugin ver. 4.0.2370 Things I tried: reinstallation (w/out uninstall), uninstall and then fresh installation My environment: Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developer
