Hello, We just subscribed to th cloud edition for our BA Game Design and Game Art courses. We need to add our students (around 200) as users but would take an absolute age to do them one at a time. Is there a process to add them in bulk? Thanks Dann
I'm evaluating Plastic Cloud Edition using Gluon as the front end. I've tried searching the web and forums to see if it is possible to manage access to individual cloud repositories but haven't been able to find any clear information. I'm interested specifically in the following: - Can you grant people access to specific repositories and not others? - Can access be restricted to read-only? - and if so how is this managed?
Hello, We have an issue with the account management. We added and enabled new accounts, disabled unused ones. But the old accounts will automatically reactivate and then our new ones cannot be used because the total number of activated accounts is greater than what our license allows. When using cm li we can see all the users and they are all activated (too much for our license) Authentication mode: Plastic own user and password database Plastic Version: 126.96.36.1993 Is there a way to fix this? Thanks, Best
Hi, I have manually installed plastic 5.4 on a Debian 9.3 machine recently and I am in doubt of how to manage which user has license access. I found this comment "Just install plasticscm-client-core" here http://blog.plasticscm.com/2016/01/how-to-manage-plastic-scm-licenses.html, however, that does not make sense that I need the client version of plastic in order to manage user licenses and I am afraid that I will get version mismatch if I use apt-get to install the client? I have found that each repository in the database has a table for user access and I think that is it, however, I would like to know whether there is another way than manually writing some queries to alter the tables, if that is even what I need to do :D? Side question is whether there is an option to install older versions of plastic using apt-get or similar if I have to do another time?
