epeleg
Any idea on why this happens and what I should do about this? Eyal

epeleg
Hi Manu, When I got the error I deleted the branch and then created it again using the UI, that time I had no error. Do you want me to use the command you provided next time I try to create a branch ? or is it a "post-mortem" command ? Eyal
manu
Ummm I thought that it was always failing. I didn't know that the branch was finally created. It's a "post-mortem" command, or at least if we can reproduce the issue, just to see where the errror is coming from.
epeleg
Well, It does not happen consistently, However it just happened again, so I deleted the branch I created. and tried again with the command line cm mkbranch br:/main/radioAndCheckboxControls --stack but it just creates the branch with no output at all. At first I though that maybe this was related to the fact that I was on some other branch and then created a child branch for main but trying this again also does not produce the error again. Is there a way to "turn logging on" somehow so that next time it happens it will already be logged somewhere ?
manu
Yes! Setup the "plastic.log.conf" file so the next time we will have the stacktrace. Check this link to learn how to enable the GUI log: http://www.plasticscm.com/infocenter/technical-articles/kb-enabling-logging-for-plastic-scm-part-i.aspx
