dpadlewski
Is there a way to delete a fetch branch. We've had one and merged changes, now we want to delete it. When we try, it will not allow it as there are changesets.
Guest
Hello, Not yet, but this possibility will be available in the following 3.0 version of Plastic SCM. Regards, Luis
maxim_ge
I think better solution would be to have "deactivate/show deactivated" functionality. So I deactivate branch and it disappears from all lists. But using some special view I can go through list of deactivated branches and activate them back. Something like this can be achived using properties but it is not quite comfortable in usage.
psantosl
Hi, There are two things here to consider: - We didn't release "branch deletion" yet. I mean, we can delete branches but only when they're empty. That's why we don't allow removing "fetch branches" (created during replication upon finding merge conflicts). Removing a fetch branch, anyway, is not a very good idea since it mirrors the remote branch. - You can easily "hide" the branches on the branch explorer, which is probably what you're looking for most of the times. It's doable through the "toggle visibility edition mode" on the "display options" panel. We could make this functionality affect the branch list too. What do you think?? Thanks, pablo
