nikhilhs
Does the team city plugin support SSL connections to Plastic? The TestConnection never completes or fails. It just hangs indefinitely. Edit: If I perform any operation from the client on the local box, I get the error message "Unknown response message from server: localhost:8087" after the operation seems to have completed. Operations performed from other computers do not get this error.
manu
Try specifying ss://localhost:8088 instead of localhost:8087. I think you are using the wring port and the wrong protocol from TeamCity.
nikhilhs
I'm using 8087 for the ssl. I think the non ssl is on 8084, but that doesn't seem to be working on teamcity. If I connect to that port from a plastic client, it asks about the certificate. I followed the instructions from http://codicesoftware.blogspot.com/2010/08/ssl-enabled-plastic-connections-reborn.html
manu
Hi, I think you need to accept permanently the certificate in the TeamCity machine. Installing the certificate should work.
nikhilhs
I did a fresh reinstall, and activated ssl via the administration tool. It created a default ssl-certificate.pfx. How do I find the password for that cert?
manu
Hi! If you are going to be installation a certificate along machine I do recommend to create your own certificate with your own password, it'g going to be more secure then using the default one.
