Running Plastic on Ubuntu

per

Recommended Posts

I am trying to run a fresh installed Plasic on Ubuntu, but I get an error:

Error: Argument cannot be null.
Parameter name: c

I think this might come from Mono, but I am not sure...

How would I get Plasic to run? The Installation has not created a repository, and creating it with cm mkrep fails with the error above.

Hi Per,

We have Plastic SCM running on Ubuntu 10.10 with no problems.

I do suspect it to be a mono issue, the mono that comes with Plastic SCM release 3.0.7 is version 2.6.5

I will try to reproduce the what you reported on an ubuntu.

meantime, is your machine 32/64Bit?

one more thing:

can you execute only cm

What is the output.

Try also this command:

/opt/plasticscm/mono/bin/mono /opt/plasticscm/client/cm.exe
