Leon9386
I have been trying to set two files to be ignored on my local work space. I have attached a copy of it below. What I really want to accomplish is deleting these files and not having to deal with. However whenever I go to delete them they show up. Is it an error with how I am ignoring them or something else? ignore.conf
calbzam
Hi, After deleting these files from source control, they should appear as "Private" in the "Workspace Explorer" view, right? Then, if you add the files to the "ignore.conf" file, they shouldn't be proposed to be committed in the "Pending Changes" view. Regards, Carlos. Leon9386
I don't have access to the source files, I am working on getting access to them but I would prefer to have a solution that would only be on my end. When I delete the items from my work space they disappear from the Items in Work Space, and show up in the pending changes. the ignore file I provided is the one at the root of my work space. calbzam
Hi, If the files are already in the repository, "ignore.conf" won't work. You will need to use "hidden_changes.conf". The ignore rules are only applied to the "private" files. Not under source control. Regards, Carlos.
