Plastic client seems to be caching the server's IP when syncing

Hi!

 

I've setup a virtual machine at home and I pointed a personal domain to my machine and I found a little bug...

I synced my plastic client with my remote server at home a few days ago and as my internet connection has dynamic IP address, Plastic was not able to find my server after my connection changed the server's IP address.

 

Now, I know that's not the "supported" or even the "recommended" scenario but I think it's a bug and "when there's a bug let me bring light on it"

Are you using the sync view?

 

Are you configuring the Plastic client entering the server IP or the server name?

Yes, I was using the sync view when I noticed that.

The workaround was to remove the source and target repository at sync view, that's why I think it's a cache problem.

 

My plastic server at home is accessed via this address: plastic.cidico.com.br:8087
