Wodzu
Hi, Long time ago I've committed a set of images to our repository. This repository has now couple of branches. I would like to remove these images from repository and all branches. I want these images to be deleted permanently, I don't want them to be recovered by switching to some changeset. How can I do this and still keep other files in repository intact? Is this operation can only be done by an admin? Is it a lot of hassle to remove these images? Thank you for your answer. calbzam
What is the goal of permanentaly remove these files? You can use the archive feature: https://www.plasticscm.com/documentation/administration/plastic-scm-version-control-administrator-guide#Chapter10:Archivingrevisions But note that the archive feature will not free up disk space. We are planning a new feature so you erase old content in a repo (maybe keeping the metadata) so you can reduce the database size but I'm afraid this is not still available. Please cehck the following threads for further details: Regards, Carlos
Wodzu
Thank you for your answer. We can't keep these files for a very long time because they are containing sensitive information. Archiving them is out of option, we need to destroy these files completely. Best regards, Wodzu
calbzam
You can create a new repo and push to this repo only the branches where these revisions are not present anymore. But I understand this is not a very confortable workaround. Regards, Carlos.
