Melena Wittwer
How is it possible to revert to previous revision/changeset in Gluon without switching to plastic each time. The only thing possible I saw was doing a revert on a single file in Gluon. Thanks in advance.
calbzam
Hi, In Gluon, every file revision can be pointing to a different changeset. You cannot switch the full workspace to a specific changeset (as you do with the Plastic GUI). This behavior is because the workspace structure is different in Plastic GUI vs Gluon. In Plastic GUI, the basic unit is the changeset and your workspace is always pointing to a specific changeset. On the contrary, in Gluon the basic unit is the file, so you can revert a file to a different version but not pointing your workspace selector to a specific changeset. If you find yourself using Plastic GUI to switch your workspace to switch to a different changeset, it's because your workflow fits better with the Plastic GUI workspace structure and I would avoid using Gluon.
