Oops! An error ocurred - in a fresh repository while Checkin-in anything

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm currently looking into switching my project to plastic, but when I upload anything (or delete files, even went as far as to wipe the entirety of the workspace), be it project files or an empty .txt file, I get the error:

Cannot access disposed object.
Object name: 'ajv'.

The files seem to upload/delete just fine, but the error doesn't let me sleep at night. Couldn't find anything about it, anywhere and it happens with each Checkin. Screenshot in attachments.

Anyone encountered this by any chance?

Could you attach your Plastic client logs?

C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\client\plastic\logs

If you are evaluating any Plastic subscription, you can also reach us at support@codicesoftware.com.

Hello Carlos,

Sadly I don't have that directory. Only thing I can find for logs is in:

C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\plastic4\logs

But there I only have gluon.debug/relevant and plastic.debug/relevant log files. I assume you mean those?

- I can see the following error in the logs:

2020-04-11 13:13:14,237 DESKTOP-215CPD2\Blacky ERROR gluon - Plastic SCM client version: 9.0.16.4146
2020-04-11 13:13:14,237 DESKTOP-215CPD2\Blacky ERROR gluon -
Error message: Cannot access a disposed object.
Object name: 'ajv'.

   at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible)

   at ajw.a(String A_0)
   at Codice.CM.CodeReview.Gui.DiffViewControlHandler.e(DiffViewEntry A_0, UInt64 A_1)

-  Just to clarify, you are seeing this error message when you checkin some changes (even whenh the checkin was successful). So the error is not preventing you to work but it's appearing and it's disturbing. Correct?

- If you create a new clean Gluon workspace, does the error persist?

Regards,

Carlos.

- Creating a new work-space did the trick - no errors there. Afterwards I moved back to the original work-space and tried checkin again, this time without any errors.

Thank you for the help with such an insignificant error and thank you for your precious time :)

Kind regards!
Black
