operations: monitoring, metrics publishing

hi, hope I haven't missed this.

Are there ready to use metrics collection plugins for known monitoring tools ?

Metrics like general repository traffic - merges, failed merges, etc.

and really low level things like process memory consumption, disk load, memory/cpu consumption, etc.

I did find a topic which referred to the CLI as source of metrics, but if a client is running plastic scm enterprise, they would need to monitor it somehow, collect the logs, etc.

It would be very convenient, if I have missed documentation, so please point me to this miss.

Good Day!

Hi Max,

- Regarding the server monitoring, we have a blog post we we explain a tool we use to monitor the performance and process the logs to get very useful information:

http://blog.plasticscm.com/2017/06/monitoring-plastic-server-performance.html

Recently we also released a new feature "htop" command to easily monitor the server:

https://www.plasticscm.com/download/releasenotes/9.0.16.4255

- From the client side, the "cm find" command is a very powerfull to to query and extract useful information from your repos (eg: meges, changesets ina period of time, changes by a specific user...). We have a guide explaining the details and also inclusing some examples:

https://www.plasticscm.com/documentation/cmfind/plastic-scm-version-control-query-system-guide

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Carlos.
