Jose I
Plastic gives us an error when attempting to delete a branch that has been merged already into our mainline. Quote Can't remove this branch because it has changesets. Is there a way to force a branch delete? We'd like to make sure we can clean up old branches so that they don't pile up over time. Thank you! Jose I
Looks like it's by design... https://blog.plasticscm.com/2018/08/why-we-dont-delete-branches-in-plastic.html
calbzam
Hi, The Plastic branch explorer has some advanced features about customizing the view, fitlering, reordering branches... Not sure if it helps. Regards, Carlos.
Jose I
Thanks for the suggestion Carlos, I was mostly wondering (coming from a Git background) if it's necessary to clean up our old branches. Looks like Plastic is designed differently and it should be ok for us to keep a large amount of branches in our repo.
