How can I do to make a folder that was controlled to private ignore

I have some folders that were controlled. I don't need control them from now on but I still need the folders for some local work(the files will be changed but not need to control). I added their path to ignore.config but it didn't work.

How can I do?

Hi,

The "ignore.conf" rules applies to files that are not under source control so you don't checkin them by mistake.

If the file is already under source control, you can remove it from the repo.
