"checkin" and "check in" are used grammatically incorrectly in various places

In various places, including the Pending Changes dialog "checkin" and "check in" are used incorrectly. The act of checking in changes is "check in", and result of checking in changes (synonymous with changeset in Plastic) is a "check-in".

"Checkin", which is synonymous with "check-in" is frowned upon in some circles but is growing enough in usage that I would not consider it explicitly wrong. However, it is never correct to use it in place of the verb phrase "check in".
