Andy Miira
An option to "collapse/fold unchanged code fragments", similar to the option on Rider IDE's diff view, would improve A LOT the readability and quick searching of differences inside Plastic's diff view. Currently, this is the only reason I still use the "Plastic SCM Rider integration" (which slows down Rider IDE), instead of fully working on my diffs via PlasticX's diff view. Daniel Peñalba
Could you share a screenshot of what you'd like to have in PlasticX?
Andy Miira
@Daniel Peñalba Sure! This is a random screenshot I got from Google, which displays the feature in an IDE. Notice the black "wobbling holes" in the diff view, which ommit certain lines of code (code regions which were unchanged). The diff view (while in "collapse unchanged fragments" mode) only shows the actual lines of code that were changed, and some neighboring lines. Daniel Peñalba
Ok I think this is doable using collapsing blocks in the text editor. We can consider this feature request for future developments cc/ @mariechristineb
