Chinese characters (code comments) became garbled inside Visual Studio when pulled from PlasticSCM's workspace.

Hey, im a very noob coder and still learning things. So sorry if my wording don't really make sense
Basically, me and brother is working collaboratively on this project (We use VS), and we type comments often in Chinese characters.
But those comments will become gibberish on the other person's VS when they pull the code from the PlasticSCM （I attached an image to show what i mean）.
I'm sure there is a way to fix this, but its a very niche problem so is hard to find a solution using google.
Would love to know how to solve this!

You need to pick a valid encoding for Chinese characters.
