Can't block people from submitting on specific branch

Hello,

I'm an admin on our Plastic Cloud instance and I'm trying to deny certain groups the access to submit on the main branch. I'm doing this in the Path Permissions window on that repository as shown in the screenshot. However this still doesn't prevent those groups from submitting.

Any idea if this just doesn't work at all or am I doing something wrong here?

Are those users using Gluon?

Have you considered using the branch permissions instead of the path ones? The path ones would apply to the whole repo whereas the branch ones would prevent users or groups from doing the desired operations in the main branch. You can access the branch permissions window by right-clicking on a branch either in the branch explorer or the branches window.

I am testing with a user from a different PC through Gluon, but the people submitting can use both Gluon and SCM.

I tried switching to the branch permission as you said and did the same setup, but still I can submit files in the main branch.
