lifeweaver
Hi, Redmine is one of very popular issue trackers. Do you have any plan to support it? Also, if there is a solution I can use to integrate PlasticSCM with Redmine right now, please let me know.
psantosl
Hi lifeweaver, Yes, we'll definitely consider coming up with a Redmine integration. We can also share the "extensions" code with you so you can develop your own. Sounds good? Right now, you can do "manual integration" which has much more sense than what initially looks like: simply name your branches following a simple convention: prefix+issue number. For instance, we do name our branches as "SCM1793" where 1793 would be the issue in our internal issue tracker. As simple as that and it works really well. pablo
lifeweaver
Good to know. And yes, please share the "extensions" code! Thank you for suggesting that naming convention -- surely I'll follow it. I'm looking forward to see the official integration. =p~
