gihrig
Plastic Community edition macplastic.app version: 5.4.16.688 OS X: 10.10.5 There is no longer a "Sync with Git" menu item on the branch context menu. The command existed on the earlier 5.4.16.633 Plastic client. Has the "Sync with Git" command been moved or removed in the newer version? --- A related issue is the Admin tool I didn't see admintool.exe in this version, and although it is documented here there is no information on how to start it. https://www.plasticscm.com/documentation/administration/plastic-scm-version-control-administrator-guide.shtml#Chapter7:AdminTool I have been able to start the admintool in earlier versions on the Mac. Is admin tool missing from version ..688 for Mac.? If so, is it possible to migrate existing SqLite data to MySql with this version?
FredM
Hi, AFAIK GTK builds (Mac + Linux) have this feature missing from the GUI for transitional reasons. Should be back in a future version. But it is available from the command line. Here's a command alias you could build upon : alias syncRepo="cm synchronize plasticRepoName@plasticServer:8087 git git@yourGithost.com:pathToGitRepo.git --user=gitUserName --pwd=gitPassword --author=Eric Estrada" This works for gitlab, may be to be adapted for github. gihrig
@Fred Thank you that's helpful! Any one know about Admin Tool? Is there a command line version that will do DB migration from SqLite to MySQL?
manu
I guess you already figure it out: http://www.plasticscm.net/index.php?/topic/3015-mac-os-problems-migrating-sqlite-to-mysql/ Regarding GitSync, it's not supported for MacPlastic/Gtkplastic yet but it will be there soon. It's still not graphically implemented but you can use the CLI as Fred suggested.
