miller Posted May 23, 2011 Report Share Posted May 23, 2011 jp. since version 3.0.22 Plastic SCM can recognize text files by reading into first bytes in the files. Also try searching this forum with "filetypes". If you have a text file that is detected as binary in Plastic, one mouse-click and you can change that file type within plastic, so, in Item view, right-mouse click on the file you want and "Change revision type".
