brandonvmoore
How can I keep stuff checked out when checking changes in so that I don't have to recheck it out again?
miller
brandon, sorry, if I dont clearly understand your question! keep changes check out when checking on? Maybe you are refering to the fact that you can perform changes to the files without checking out "hence without the need to make them writable", in this case review the other mode that plastic can work in "svn-like mode" om commits. http://www.plasticscm.com/infocenter/technical-articles/kb-no-checkout-workflow.aspx hope it answers you question, cheers, Miller
JarJarThomas
@Miller no i think he wants to keep the checkout state of the files. If you work clean, you should checkin your files multiple times just to prevent loss of changes. BUT if you do a checkin you have to checkout the files again to work on them. If you have multiple files you are working with and these files are in multiple folders it gets really annoying to check eg. 15 files out, modify them, checkin and checkout again.
