Changing from Firebird to SQL Express 2008 and taking the created branches

Hello people,

I want to know if theres is an easy way to change my backend database from firebird to sqlserver express but importing the branches already created.

I tried a lot of things yesterday but always created an empty repository /main. The only easy way to do that I've found was creating import packages and importing them, but when you have a lot of branches is not a nice thing to do :(

Thanks in advance!

Cidico,

we have an internal tool that we share with you guys "using the Plastic SCM 3.0", the tool is called replikate.exe (yes with a k).

We wrote a nice a detailed KB article(s) use them as a guideline:

http://www.plasticscm.com/infocenter/technical-articles/kb-plastic-scm-database-backend-migrating-sqlite-to-mysql.aspx

You will also find download link for the tool ;)

Also take a look at our knowledge base articles: http://www.plasticscm.com/infocenter/technical-articles.aspx

enjoy,
