Guest Posted December 12, 2011 Report Share Posted December 12, 2011 There is a bug in Git that makes impossible to import data exported from Git if there are moved / renamed items that have white spaces in their path. The fast-export report created does not include " " surrounding the paths that contain white spaces, so there is no way to identify the operation. This bug has appeared in Git 1.7.6.x (possibly .1, which fixes something related to that; my guess is that this was broken when trying to fix something related), it was working fine in previous versions of Git.
