mschad Posted January 20, 2012 Report Share Posted January 20, 2012 We recently upgraded from 3.x to 4.0.237.2 and everything was working wonderfully. Our Community license had to be renewed and I replaced the license file. Now the Plastic Server service won't start. We get a timeout error: The Plastic Server 4 service failed to start due to the following error: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion I tried replacing the license file with the previous one, but had the same result. manu Posted January 23, 2012 Report Share Posted January 23, 2012 Hello mschad, just to test if we can start the PlasticSCM server do the following: 1) Open a command line window with admin permissions. 2) Change your directory to the PlasticSCM server location. Can you send to us the plastic.server.log file? You will find it on the PlasticSCM server directory. You can reach me at mlucio at codicesoftware dot com.
