epeleg
Is there a way so highlight / list un-merged branches ? When I say "un-merged" branches I mean branches whose last changeset has not been merged into any other branch.
manu
you can use the "Branches with pending integrations" conditional format rule in the branch explorer. BUT, there are some 4.0 cases that are not supported and you can get false positives.
epeleg
I see that, but at lease for me right not it is not helpfull as it seems to actually be ""Branches with pending integrations WITH RESPECT TO /MAIN". I have a /main branch and /main/bigtask branch with many other child branches of /main/bigtask. Because /main/bigtask is not merged into /main it colors all the sub branches that where already merged into /main/bigtask. so as you said, way too many false positives to be helpful in my scenario. epeleg
hmmm.... Is there a chance that this can this be achieved using the "custom query rule" option under conditional format rule in the branch explorer ? where can I find documentation for the syntax used by the "custom query rule" ? manu
It's not doable with custom rules Insert the task into our uservoice system, I'll vote it myself I think we can have something like a tex box in the rule area where you can write the branch you want to track for pending merges, what do you think? It's pretty easy to develop....
epeleg
I don't think that it requires a text box at all. unless you mean "on top" of my original description of what I wanted. if a text box is to be added then the highlighted branches should be : branches that end with a changeset that was not merged and are derived from a specific branch (whose number/name is given in the textbox). how do I get to the uservoice system?
