andsee Posted April 3, 2012 Report Share Posted April 3, 2012 Could the curently selected branch be highlighted for example with a black border instead of grey. A couple of times now people have accidentally checked directly into main despite having made a branch for their changes. The issue is that it's not obvious which branch you are curently in unless you look at the text in the top left of the window. Indeed some users have been confused thinkning the branch is not changed when selecting a new branch and switching the workspace to it because if there are no changesets in it yet the home icon stays in the main branch. Guest Posted April 3, 2012 Report Share Posted April 3, 2012 Regarding the first issue, you can add a "current branch rule" in the branch explorer's Conditional Format tab :-). You can select your favourite colour, and I think is good enough for your purposes. Regarding the second issue, we've developed a better aproximation in Plastic SCM 4.1 (which will be soon publicly released) that paints a "checkout changeset" in the branch explorer, so that the user gets a better idea of where he is working at.
