alex.orth
While installing the newest version of Plastic SCM on my Virtual Machine (Virtual PC), I recieved a message to close process "VMSRVC (pid 1280)". This file is part of the Virtaul Machine, so I can't close the process. Is there any way to install the update without close this process?
manu
Quite strange. Somehow the Virtual machine process is using the Plastic SCM dll's... Can you try to: 1) Restart the machine, hopefully the dll's will be released. 2) Kill the process (I know it's part of the machine but it seems that it's only related with the performance), what happens if you kill it? 3) Try to uninstall and Install the new version. After that the process is running again. 3) Great ... that worked (the VMSRVC-Process is running all the time in the background ) Thanks a lot!
