    W: Failed to fetch https://www.plasticscm.com/plasticrepo/stable/debian/./Packages  Bad header line

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

    I followed the instructions here https://www.plasticscm.com/plastic-for-linux to install from stable repositories

    and got errors above when executing the last  

    apt-get update

    any suggestions?
