  1. I'm currently deploying an on-premise server for our organization and our "plastic" subdomain + our domain name is pretty long to type out. In all the documentations short repserverspecs like "juno:8087" or "skull:8084" are used. I know that they are there to be explanatory but I was wondering if there was a way to actually define such shorter alias names for longer urls, so instead of cm lu ssl://plastic.<our-long-domain-name>:8088 we would only have to type cm lu ssl://plasticserver:8088 or even just cm lu plasticserver if the alias could also include the ssl protocol and the port. I read in the documentation about server alias (serveralias.conf), but I think this is only to tell the client that multiple repserverspecs (that would resolve to the same IP) are to be considered the same for workspaces and does not help me with my problem. Also all those alias would need to be able to resolved by a DNS query. Am I understanding this right and are there any other mechanisms in place that I could use to achieve the above? Is there some other .conf file where I can enter? plastic.<our-long-domain-name> plasticserver
