Noogie
So we're creating a game with Unity and have decided to look into using Plastic as our version control solution. We work with a lot of contractors and it's gotten to the point where we need to share our project (via Plastic) with those contractors so they can setup animations and visual FX. That being said, we don't necessarily want the contractors to be able to view any of the core scripts that make the game function but we do need those scripts to compile for the contractors so they can run the Unity project and test add their implementations. Can this be done?
Rafael
Hi, Im afraid that in this case that is not possible. If you want someone to compile the scripts then they need read access, and that access means that they can view those scripts. There is no other way around using PlasticSCM permissions. Some type of obfuscation might help. Regards, Rafael PlasticSCM/Unity Support Team
