[Any plans to fix gtk on Ubuntu 20.10 etc?]

They are considering several options actually. The problem with the snap packages is that the development of the GUI would still be independent, so it would still be a bit behind. If they get to unify them, it would have the same features as the Windows one, which is definitely better.

I had to figure it out before i found the guide you gave 

[can't install in ubuntu 19.10]

What I had to do was add the Ubuntu 18.04 repo to my Ubuntu  20.04 computer

after that update and it will be install-able now. 

 

@calbzam I think you guys should just do a snap it would easily solve this issue ...

Will Linux get continued support?
