How do I enter a new license to replace the beta license?

Hi,

 

I entered a beta license in Semantic Merge, and I have since acquired a "real" license. I want to enter the new license, but I can't figure out how. When I start Semantic Merge, I don't see the "get license" button, nor do I find a place to enter a new license anywhere else.

 

Please advise me how to enter my new license.

Hi flashie_dirk,

 

You do not have the "get license" button because your license has not expired yet.
To add the new license, you should rename the existing license to ".lic.old" which is located in C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Local\plastic4 as "license.lic".
Now, restart the tool and you will see the "get license" button.
