breakfast
Sometimes when I merge I know that the destination file ( or the Base, or whatever ) is entirely correct and others are entirely incorrect, or I can figure that out quite quickly. What I can't find in SemanticMerge is a simple way of telling it that one of the files is correct and it should simply save that down as the merge complete option. I suspect that this does exist and maybe that in turn indicates a slightly trickier problem with the application as it stands which is that with no standard menu and not much explanation of what different options do, it is rather hard to discover new useful features that do exist. I realise this is to be expected in early beta, but I feel it is worth bearing in mind for the future.
miryamgsm
Hi! Usually, you can perform this option through the control version system. Anyway, please add your suggestion to the uservoice forum to share it with the other users! The uservoice forum is here: http://plasticscm.uservoice.com/forums/196398-mergebegins Best regards, Míryam
