Unreal 4 Mac and Plastic?

We have a UE4 Repo in Plastic cloud that works fine on Windows, but I experience two problems when I try to Sync on Mac and build Unreal Engine:

  1. File ownership: Sync'd files don't have ownership permissions properly set and require that I chown every file first
  2. Line endings: Then when I try to run the initial Unreal project setup files (the .command files), I get errors because the line endings are all Windows style (CR/LF) which won't run under Mac linux. Unfortunately, manually changing line endings hasn't worked because I haven't been able to identify every file that's used in the setup process. I understand that Plastic doesn't automatically do line-ending translation at sync time like Git does, so I'm curious if anyone has found a workaround for this issue.
