SRombauts
Hello, I am the original author of the Plastic SCM plugin for Unreal Engine, now working full time to develop tighter integrations with the ecosystem! Documentation: a common request is for better documentation. We will improve over time, but our Github's README is a good starting point: https://github.com/PlasticSCM/UE4PlasticPlugin#readme Plugin Release: we do release now version with bug fixes, performances improvements and new features, on https://github.com/PlasticSCM/UE4PlasticPlugin/releases Unreal Engine 4.27 and 5.0 ship with a quite old version 1.4.6 of the plugin: so everyone should probably upgrade to the latest release of the plugin from Github, in order to replace the version in Engine by a copy in their Game. Additionally, Unreal Engine 5.0 broke quite a few things, including UI menus, and adding new features like the One File Per Actor, that add pressure on the plugin, so upgrading is even more important there! Unreal Engine 5.1 will come with an updated version 1.5.0 of the plugin, so it will be in a much better state from the start (but that's still a few month away). I have now started to implement support for Changelists in Unreal, I'll let you know how it goes. Cheers! Sébastien
SRombauts
And also, a good start for newcomers to Source Control in Unreal Engine would be the official documentation from Epic Games: Source Control Inside Unreal Editor Diffing Unreal Assets (blog post)
