Workspaces and Repos

Recommended Posts

Multiple questions about workspaces so I'll make a list:

  1. What is a workspace?
  2. What is the difference between a workspace and a repo?
  3. I ended up with a workspace that is the name of my project, but is that the intended way to do this?
  4. If my repo is the name of my project, what should the workspace name be?
  5. Can I delete a workspace?

Hi @russellfincher,

I have found a link that will answer most of your question:https://docs.plasticscm.com/user/plastic-scm-version-control-introduction-guide#Repositories                          Please read about repository and workspace. This will help you understand better on both of them. Regarding questions #3 and #4, you should be able to name however you want. #5 - you can delete workspace. Please let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.
