jcday Posted March 9, 2011 Report Share Posted March 9, 2011 I switched the server from AD authentication to user authentication, restarted the process. Changed the client to match. All works well. A second client also changed from AD to user authentication reports that it can't work against an AD-authenticating server. Anyways, it eventually works but I'm not sure why. Switch the server back to AD, restart the server, the clients are changed to match, but again one of the clients complains, this time that it can't work against a server working from username/password authentication. In both cases, the client mis-identifies the status of the server. Is this cached somewhere in the client? Is there something else that needs cleaning up to make sure it authenticates correctly?
