Olaf Kober
Hello! Today our third developer started to work with Plastic SCM. Two other developers already successfully worked for about two days with the new system. Unfortunately, our third developer got following error message when starting Plastic SCM client: The user <username> appears as an inactive user because his/her license has been deactivated. Please, activate it and then try again. Plastic client can't continue and will be closed. When running "cm li" it returned two user names with status ACTIVE and 6 other user names with status INACTIVE (Not licensed). It seems that only two users are allowed, but I thought the community edition contains a license for 15 users?! And yes, I downloaded and copied the license file to the server directory; restarted Plastic SCM server afterwards. The license was generated on 4. November 2010. Any idea? Olaf Kober
Thanks! Now I understand. It works. No need to check my license file, that's ok. I did not found anything about activating users in the manuals and was not aware of this knowledgebase article. Many many thanks for answering my newbie questions...
