qslug
We are setting up our build machine to use Plastic SCM, and we are thinking about having the build machine apply a label with the build number to a branch at build time. We have currently have 12 active developers, so we are being picky with out licenses. Would it use up a developer license to create a build acct specifically to apply labels, or would we be better off just using an existing acct? On a related note, we currently store the SVN global revision id in the version info for each build, is there a way to do something similar in plastic? Maybe the latest changeset id from the build branch?
Guest
Hi, Both creating a new label and applying a label use up a license. Regarding your other question, you can see in the Branch Explorer the labelled changeset. By double clicking on it you can see the changeset number. Best, Luis
