Visual Studio Error: Reference Unavailable

I just started getting this error inside of Visual Studio today, I updated to the latest version of Plastic when it released but I haven't seen this until now.

I seem to get it when I make changes to the .csproj files, either directly (via unloading the project, editing, and saving), or by changing properties on references.

So far, I just dismiss it and it doesn't seem to really bother anything.

Hi!

I have been trying to reproduce the error you reported with no success...

Kindly can you please give me some more info regarding this error?

1-Which version of Plastic SCM do you have before installing this new one?

2-Which Source Control Provider are you using, Visual Studio SCC plug-in or Visual Studio Source Control Package?

3-Does this error appear frequently? Which is the latest SCM operation that you usually perform before seeing this error? Or it simply appears after editing a .csproj file?

4-Would it be possible to enable the stacktrace option on the PlasticSCM client in order to try to find any helpful clue?

To do that, please, edit the file located at:

LOCAL_USER_FOLDER\AppData\Local\plastic4\client.conf

and add the following entry at the near end of the file:

<StackTrace>YES</StackTrace>

Then, restart VS and try to reproduce the issue again.

Sorry for the inconveniences and kind regards,

-Jesús M.

I'll answer your questions as best I can, but so far today I have not been able to reproduce it. Maybe VS was just having a bad day (I know I was!).

1-I've been successively installing all the Plastic versions and updates since 4.0 released (and some beta's as well)

2-I'm using the VS Source Control Package

3-I guess the answer is no, since that was the first time I'd seen it, and after leaving and coming back for the weekend, the problem appears to be gone.

4-If the problem resurfaces, I will indeed enable that and report back.

Thanks for your response, and sorry if I had you chasing a wild goose! :D
