danipen
You will understand this better if understand the workspace concept. A Plastic SCM workspace, is a folder on disk where you download files from Plastic SCM server. Each workspace, is configured to download file from different places in source repository (different branches, for example) Think on this example: two workspaces, one pointing to a branch, and other pointing to a different branch. The content of first workspace is different from content of the second workspace. So when you change the branch in your workspace, Plastic SCM client start downloading files from server. If a file that you currently have in first branch should't exist in the new one, Plastic SCM will rename this file to .removed (Plastic SCM nerver deletes any file or folder).
