alextxm
Hi, in my tests with Plastic i need to work with multiple servers (one, lightweight, on my notebook and one on the server). I've been able to create remote repos (from my nb on the server) but they didn't get listed in the in the gui. Mhh. Then I noticed in the userguide, section 5.8, that I needed to create a plastic.servers file to do so. After I did it, the gui successfully handled all my repos I think it would be nice to have the Plastic gui to handle such task automatically in a future release. PS: it would also be nice to have db-backend and ssl-security configuration both integrated into the server configuration tool... any plan for them? bye, Alessandro
psantosl
Hi Alessandro, Actually all your suggestions do make a lot of sense. We must come up with a configuration tool for the backend and the SSL connection. It is just a matter of time, we're working on very cool features for the next release but we'll find time to implement these options too. Thanks for the remarks! pablo
maxim_ge
I also think that SSL should be supported out of the box. Why not generate SSL certification file automatically, during server installation and make possible to establish SSL connection immediately ? miller
HI Maxim, Indeed, we are working to automatize the process of the configuration of the SSL, it is in the queue of our planned tasks for future releases. Miller
