I clicked on the link in the notification email (Attachment 1). This took me to the login screen on www.plasticscm.com, followed by the "Edit Billing Data" screen at https://www.plasticscm.com/download/account/editbillingdata. I entered my details and clicked on "Save Data", but got an error message (Attachment 2). This error was repeatable. Then I went to https://www.plasticscm.com/download/dashboard . I used the "Buy" button there, and typed my credit card details into the pop-up window. This succeeded. All in all, I am a paying customer now!
