sbeaver
Client on Debian Linux VM, Sever on Mac host Workspace 1: name directory contains -------------------------------------------- WS_1 /home/test testfile.txt drivers (dir) Workspace 2 name directory contains -------------------------------------------- WS_2 /home/test2 testfile2.txt drivers (dir) I activate WS_1 and check in the two items in /home/test Now I activate WS_2 and try to check in those two items. I get the error "drivers" already exists Why is this? It is not in the same Workspace? Is there a way to resolve this? Steve
psantosl
Hi, The only reason I can think of is: - You've added directory "drivers" on wk1 - They you try to add it again on wk2 -> it fails because it already exists. You should update your workspace first. Cheers, pablo
sbeaver
i have now come to understand that plastic doesn't care that files come from different workspaces. If they have the same name, the repo will not allow that. I will have to use separate repos for each component of the project, or rename the files
